Live music venues with capacities of 200–500 people often face competing demands. The space must deliver high-energy sound for audiences while remaining manageable for staff and engineers who may be working with different performers every night.

 

A common scenario is a rectangular hall with a raised stage, minimal acoustic treatment, and a house PA system that has been incrementally upgraded over time.
